EXPORTERS' ASSOCIATION

The project of organizing Turkish exporters was planned in order to overcome unsuitable economical conditions that prevailed all over the world before World War II, and this project was realized in 1940 following a number of studies which started in 1937.
In Turkey, Exporters' Associations consist of 58 separate association from 23 sectors, with approximately 50.000 members. They provide the solidarity among their members, obtain information for exporters keeping up with the developments that occur in foreign markets; these unions serve members with marketing researches, finding new markets, presentation and organization of expositions.
As an subordinate organization of Prime Ministry Undersecretariat Of Foreign Trade, our Association, like all other exporters' associations in Turkey, has the mission of bridging between public and private industrial sectors, with an organizational structure of a Board of Administration, consisting of 9 members, and a General Secretariat.

What is more important, the primary purpose of Exporters' Associations is to ensure the quality in the production of Turkish export products, which are well-known worldwide, for the satisfaction of consumers, and to enable the marketing of these products in observance to competitive free market rules.
The rapid increase in export volume of textile products by Turkey was paralleled by an increase of the number of exporters who deals with the production and exportation of textile and ready made-clothing in Denizli and its environs. Thus, Denizli Textile and Apparel Exporters' Association was established in 1993 having 107 members and with the aim of increasing the speed of the work course depending on work capacity. Today, Denizli Textile and Apparel Expoters' Association serves its 704 members, with a staff of 20 employees, in coordination with the Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade. The Association tries to solve the problems of its members.
